🌿 Beyond the Big Five: The Art of Guiding, Storytelling & Learning! 🐾

Our Timbavati Foundation team recently participated in an enriching three-day guiding mentorship with Tchagra Trails Wilderness Consulting at Koru Camp , focusing on developing the skills and confidence needed to become well-rounded nature guides and environmental educators.

From exploring wetlands and water systems to tree identification, research techniques, public speaking and practical game drives, the mentorship challenged our team to look beyond the obvious and discover the stories hidden within nature.

🌳 One of the greatest lessons?
A memorable bush experience isn't always about spotting the Big Five. Sometimes, the smallest details reveal the most fascinating stories.

Through research presentations, scavenger hunts, storytelling exercises and practical guiding sessions, our team gained valuable skills to strengthen both their environmental knowledge and their ability to engage and inspire others.
